Location/How to get there

Departures are from Keflavik main harbour, just a 5 minute drive from the international airport or 40 minutes west of Reykjavik. Depending on the weather, departures are sometimes from Sandgerdi or Grindavik.

By car you find us in the following way:
Coming from Reykjavik you take main road number 41 towards the west, approximately 40 km. After passing two car sales, turn to the right onto road number 46, then turn left into Njarðvik and drive straight on for nearly 3 km until you see an Esso petrol station. Then you are in Keflavik (part of the municipality of Reykjanesbaer).
You see the main harbour to the right and by the round-about there is our office.
There you turn right towards the harbour
where you will find M/S Moby Dick.

What to bring

On the open sea it is sometimes windy and chilly. Therefore it is essential that you bring along warm and windtight clothing and rainwear. Likewise, you should not forget your camera and preferably also bring a pair of binoculars. If you wish to bathe in the Blue Lagoon on the way back, you should bring your bathing costume and a towel (otherwise they can also be hired there).Raingear is provided on board.

Reservations - Cancellations

It is necessary to book in advance. We reserve the right to cancel a trip when the weather makes it absolute necessary or to depart from Sandgerdi or Grindavik. Our passengers will be notified of such changes.
